On June 14th, 2024, the charming Villa Aurelia in Rome hosted the beautiful Episcopal wedding of Aurora and Vince. This enchanting three-day event was attended by 40 guests, each invited to add a touch of refined Romanity to their attire, complementing the villa’s elegant atmosphere.
The celebrations began with a delightful couple’s photo session on the first day, capturing precious moments against the most iconic spots in the Eternal City (Pantheon, Colosseum and Fontana di Trevi). This was followed by a warm welcome dinner in the afternoon at a typical restaurant, where guests mingled and enjoyed the local food like the must-have Tonnarelli cacio e pepe and Saltimbocca alla romana.
The second day was the highlight, featuring the much-anticipated wedding ceremony in Italy. Aurora arrived at the villa in style, escorted by a white limousine, embodying grace and sophistication. The Episcopal ceremony in Rome was a heartfelt affair, with the couple exchanging vows amidst the picturesque setting of the villa, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
As the sun began to set, the couple treated their guests to a refreshing basil sorbet on the terrace, providing a moment to relish the breathtaking Roman sunset. This thoughtful gesture allowed everyone to soak in the magic of the evening, setting the stage for the night’s festivities.
The celebration continued with a lively dancing party, kicked off by the traditional bouquet toss, followed by the couple’s romantic first dance. A live band energized the crowd, ensuring that everyone was on their feet, dancing the night away. The pièce de résistance of the evening was the spectacular five-tiered chocolate and strawberry wedding cake, a true Italian wedding masterpiece that delighted all the guests.
The festivities concluded on the third day with a casual yet delightful pizza evening, allowing guests to unwind and share stories from the previous days. Aurora and Vince’s wedding at Villa Aurelia was a perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and joyful celebration, leaving lasting memories for all who attended.
